Strain

I just finished watching the new version of The Andromeda Strain on A & E. I expected it to be really really bad, much like all the original movies shot for SciFi channel, all of which seemed to promise something good in the way of ideas, but with only enough money to either make a really good 20 minute offering, or, as usual, a 2 hour turd.

A & E must have better backing. I still have to watch the 4 hour second part tomorrow night. I DVR'd it, so I will watch it after work around 2AM.
